
For locals and visitors alike, options for ticket purchase are invisible at stations. Tiny pay machines in place are baffling for many people and railcards currently cannot be loaded with membership details at country town stations as staff do not have the equipment or understanding of what the process is or how it’s done. The above are huge failures in planning and deter many from travelling. Therefore more user-friendly ticketing machines should be installed in all stations, as well as more training for ticketing staff in country town stations.
