Establish ‘People Friendly Places’

Ban cars from specific urban places

People friendly urban places should be established where walking, cycling and public transport are the most popular mode for how people move around. Private cars – aside from blue badge holders – would no longer be permitted within urban areas. This should be done for the benefit of: Public health through making sustainable transport a safer more appealing option; creating cleaner air; reducing Co2 emissions; reducing noise pollution; and encouraging coherent planning to create communities.
